On day 5 of Navratri, we worship Maa Skandamata. Her name means “Mother of Skanda” where the latter refers to the lord Kartikeya, the god of war and the leader of the divine army. - Morning Prep: Freshen up and wear white (if possible). Clean your puja space.

- Light the diya (lamp) and incense to create a calm atmosphere.
- Mantra Chant:
ॐ देवी स्कन्दमातायै नमः (Om Devi Skandamatayai Namah) - Repeat 11 times if you can or you can chat for 51 or 108 times.
- Offerings: Present fruits, sweets, flowers, water, and a glass of milk or white sweets as bhog to the Mata (goddess).
